“Currently, repairing assets is good both for the environment, plus it also offers a financial, energy and infrastructure saving, opposed to purchasing a new replacement asset and recycling the old, failed asset.

This is due to recycling requiring energy and infrastructure to break down the asset to remake something else from it.
