Encoder Repairs

IER UK provides an encoder repair service for the incremental, absolute and linear encoders fitted to servo motors, CNC axes, robotics, conveyor systems and printing presses. Where a unit is beyond economical repair, we can rebuild it using the existing casing — useful where an exact obsolete replacement is no longer available.

Types of Encoder We Repair

Incremental encoders — output a pulse signal used to measure relative position and speed

Absolute encoders — retain exact positional data even when power is removed

Linear encoders — measure straight-line position rather than rotation
